We are interested in domain-specific languages aimed at robot programming, the programming of robots at different levels, and the integration of on-line and off-line programming. We have implemented the robot language RAPID and experimented with new language constructs to better support various robot programming problems. As a language implementation tool we have used the APPLAB system. The largest case study so far is the implementation of RAPID to control an ABB Irb-6 industrial robot.
